Just when you think fall will last…

Oh, November! So unpredictable and tumultuous!

Aurora borealis was visible from my own front porch earlier in the month! It was soul-shivering delightful to witness this phenomenon standing sock-footed in pjs. Best seen through the phone’s photo lens, still, the smudgy pink and green reminded me to wonder at our world and its unexpected marvels.

Of course we close out November with snow. I had bet on a long, slow fall season through December like we had last year. More fool, me! Oh, climate change, you’re such a fickle mistress. We need the moisture so badly, that I can’t be mad. Guess I’ll start making paper snowflakes early this year.
